Meet KT Lam, The Trusted Chartered Accountant for Malaysia & Singapore
Lam Kean Teng (“KT Lam”) – ACCA · CA (Singapore) · ATP (Singapore) · C.A.(M.) · PBA (Singapore)
KT Lam is an ACCA-qualified chartered accountant whose credentials legally authorise public accountancy practice in both Malaysia and Singapore: his ACCA membership grants him C.A.(M.) status through the Malaysian Institute of Accountants under the Accountants Act 1967, and he also qualified as Chartered Accountant (Singapore) via the ACCA pathway introduced.
In addition, KT holds Accredited Tax Practitioner (ATP) status with IRAS in Singapore for both income tax and GST work, as well as the ISCA Professional Business Accountant (PBA) credential recognising his strategic business acumen and leadership in finance roles.
With over 10 years experience, KT developed his accounting advisory expertise in tandem with senior-level finance management: while serving audit and bookkeeping clients and implementing automated systems and tax strategies in both countries, he concurrently acted as Finance Manager for a regional laboratory equipment company. In that role, he handled budgeting, consolidation, compliance, cash flow forecasting and performance reporting across ASEAN markets.
He now leads his own accounting and secretarial firm, delivering integrated services—including corporate governance filings, accounting, payroll, tax advisory and management reporting—to guide SMEs toward compliance and strategic clarity.
